Refund And Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, changes, and service fees are generally handled by Routelle Travel. Travel bookings often involve third-party suppliers, and each supplier may have its own rules.

2. Service Fees

Routelle Travel may charge service fees for route design, itinerary planning, consulting, booking support, concierge coordination, supplier research, proposal preparation, revisions, rush service, and related professional work.

Service fees may be non-refundable once planning, consulting, booking support, itinerary work, supplier research, proposal preparation, communication, or coordination work has started. This is because the fee compensates Routelle Travel for professional time and work performed, even if the client later decides not to travel or not to proceed with a supplier booking.

3. Supplier Charges

Supplier charges may include hotel deposits, airline tickets, tours, cruises, transfers, experiences, guides, restaurant deposits, local taxes, resort fees, service charges, activity fees, or other third-party costs. Supplier charges are controlled by the supplier's own terms and conditions.

4. Cancellation Eligibility

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on supplier rules and the type of booking. Some bookings may be refundable, partially refundable, changeable with penalty, credit-only, or fully non-refundable. Eligibility may depend on timing, rate type, fare class, season, destination, package type, payment deadline, and supplier policy.

5. Client Cancellation

If you wish to cancel, you should notify Routelle Travel as soon as possible in writing. Routelle Travel may assist with communicating cancellation requests to suppliers, but supplier approval is not guaranteed. Supplier penalties, non-refundable charges, administrative fees, and Routelle Travel service fees may apply.

6. Changes

Requested changes may be subject to availability, supplier approval, repricing, penalties, new deposits, new service fees, or additional coordination charges. Prices are subject to change until the changed booking is confirmed by the supplier.

7. Supplier Cancellation or Schedule Change

If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, refund, credit, rebooking, or compensation options are determined by the supplier's rules and applicable law. Routelle Travel may help communicate with the supplier where appropriate, but does not control supplier decisions, processing timelines, or refund methods.

8. Airfare and Flight Refunds

Airline tickets and flight-related services are subject to airline fare rules, airline policies, and applicable aviation consumer protection rules. Some fares are non-refundable or restricted. If a refund is owed by an airline, the timing and method of refund may depend on airline and regulatory rules. Baggage fees, ancillary services, schedule changes, and cancellations may be handled under airline and applicable government rules.

9. No Refund for Completed Work

No refund is due for completed route design, itinerary planning, consulting, research, coordination, or booking support work unless Routelle Travel expressly agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Force Majeure and Travel Disruption

Weather events, natural disasters, health emergencies, strikes, labor actions, political unrest, war, terrorism, supplier insolvency, government restrictions, airport closures, operational disruptions, or other events beyond Routelle Travel's control may affect travel. Refunds or credits for affected supplier services depend on supplier rules and applicable law.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a billing error, contact Routelle Travel first so the issue can be reviewed. Filing a payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically cancel supplier obligations, penalties, or service fees.

12. Transparent Fees

Routelle Travel aims to disclose known service fees and supplier charges before payment. Some third-party fees may be payable locally or may become known only after supplier confirmation or later in the travel process.
